Questions customers ask
What if the battery dies while the door is locked?
The lock warns you in the app weeks in advance. In an emergency it can be powered from a power bank through the USB-C port, and the spare key is always available.
Will it fit my existing door?
Usually yes. We check the door, its thickness and the current lock before ordering and pick the right model. The survey is free.
Can I open the door while I'm away?
Yes, remotely from the app. With a Syltra video doorbell you can also see the visitor, speak to them, then let them in.
Is my fingerprint data safe?
The fingerprint is stored encrypted inside the lock itself and is never uploaded to any server.
